MY AUGUST 2019 VISIT TO WATERFORD 26/08/2019

A recent project to re-catalogue my extensive photograph collection led me to an unexpected rediscovery: more images of the De La Salle Hall in Waterford from an August 2019 visit. This find prompted a review of my travel records, which confirmed that my plan for annual visits to the city—a mission to document its evolving street art scene—had been disrupted more significantly than I had recalled. My last visit, it turned out, was not in late 2023 as I had believed, but some years prior. This rediscovery of old photographs, however, brought the story of one particular mural back into sharp focus.
