Rumours circulated that the wall displaying the Robert Emmet memorial plaque had been demolished and replaced by builders' hoarding. To verify this, I visited the location and was relieved to find the plaque still on public view. However, a captivating street art tribute to Robert Emmet can be discovered at the corner of Le Vere Terrace which is nearby.
