Unfortunately, the information about a statue of an old woman on Dublin Road in tribute to Frank O'Meara is incorrect. There is no known record or evidence of such a statue existing. O'Meara's family home was indeed at 37 Dublin Street in Carlow, but any tributes or memorials to him in the town are likely to be different in nature.
