For this inaugural run, I kept the camera in full auto mode. The primary objective was not nuanced artistic deliberation, but standard quality assurance - verifying that the autofocus locks promptly, image stabilisation engages properly, and aperture communication between camera and mount operates without issue. The lens handled every initial test without missing a beat.
